Delete your Lalela account.
You can delete your account and everything it has synced to the cloud at any time, from inside the app or by writing to us. This page explains how, and exactly what goes.
Delete it in the app
This works the same way on Android, iPhone, iPad, Mac and Windows.
- Open Lalela on your phone, tablet or computer and make sure you're signed in.
- Go to Settings. On a phone it's the Settings tab at the bottom of the screen; on a computer it's in the sidebar.
- Choose Account.
- Under Delete account, tap or click Delete account.
- Type DELETE in the box to confirm, then choose Permanently delete account.
Typing DELETE is there so nobody deletes an account by accident. Once you confirm, there is no undo.
What gets deleted
Your account and everything synced to the cloud with it:
- Your Lalela account: your sign-in, email address and profile
- Every meeting you synced: transcripts, notes, summaries and meeting images
- Recordings you made in the web app
- Your tasks, tags and folders, including folders you shared with a team (the people you shared them with lose access)
- Your team memberships and access to folders other people shared with you
- Your workflows, automations and their results
- Notetaker and CRM connections, and the history of what they imported or sent
- Your AI allowance usage records and your notifications
What stays on your device
- Meetings stored on your device stay there. Deleting your account doesn't reach into your phone or computer: those meetings remain until you delete them in the app or uninstall Lalela.
- Voiceprints for speaker recognition never leave your device in the first place, so there is nothing of them on our side to delete. They go when you delete them in the app or uninstall it.
How quickly it happens
Straight away. When you confirm, Lalela removes your cloud data and your account in one go, then signs you out. There is no waiting period, and the account can't be recovered afterwards.
Delete it without the app
If you no longer have the app, email support@auxodigital.africa from the email address you use to sign in to Lalela, and ask us to delete your account. Sending it from that address is how we know the request is yours. We'll delete the account and its cloud data as described above and reply to confirm. You can use the same address to ask us to remove anything else, such as your anonymous usage data.
